Back for a month now

Well, it certainly has been a long time since I've posted.

I've now been back in Canada for just over a month now! Time really flies!!! What have I done in this month....well I've spent a lot of time with my nephew Ty, visited friends, seen a couple of movies, worked on my quilt and photo albums and have read a fair amount. Basically I've just been relaxing and taking it easy.

I've also been looking for a job, have had a couple of interviews, but no job yet. I made it half way through an interview process with a pharmaceutical company, but didn't make it to the final stage because of my lack of industry experience. Fair enough, really what do I know about pharmaceuticals? But she did encourage me to apply for a tuition scholarship to take this online course. So, I'm really thinking about doing that now. So I'll be sticking around home for the summer months if I decide to do that, get a job up here doing something and take the course. I should know more about that in a couple of weeks.

Onto more exciting news...I found out today that I will become an Aunt again in November of this year!! Woo hoo!! I can't wait, I'm so happy and excited!

I haven't really missed Japan much since being back in Canada...there were a few things I missed initially...heated toilet seats, deep bathtubs...but most of those things I've already forgotten about...so I can't have missed them too badly. I've also seemed to forgotten most of the bad or frustrating times I've had....so my memories are just of good times, which indeed is a good thing!

Naturally though I miss all my friends back in Japan and the kids at NOVA...
I'll write again, sometime soonish!
