Memoirs

I watched Memoirs of a Geisha tonight.

I had read the book last year before the movie came out and then went to see it at the cinema with my sister.

It was on one of the movie channels tonight so I decided to watch it again.

It is, at least for me, such a moving and tragic movie. It's beautifully crafted and it had me wishing I was back in film class in university so that I could write an analysis on it. The movie made me miss Japan - especially the beauty of it. The movie is inspiring yet incredibly sad.

It left me feeling a bit somber.

This has been a pretty pointless blog - no real news to share.

I'm getting my hair cut on Friday finally, way past needing a haircut. And sadly, that is about all the news I have.
