Luck has come around

Well, a few months ago I may have been fortune-less...but my luck has arrived!

Friday night I went to the Casino with my mom to watch "Broadway"...a show made up entirely of different musical numbers from a variety of musicals...it was really good, we really enjoyed it! Before the show we decided to try our luck at the slots....we decided to play together and ended up winning $200! Yay, enough to pay for the new shoes I bought earlier in the evening!

Then I bought a BINGO scratch ticket on the weekend and I won $50 on it! Woohoo...if they say "All things come in threes", I wonder what's next! :)

In other news Neko is A LOT better! She no longer needs her daily needles, just has to stay on the one pill for two more weeks then she goes back for a check up and he'll re-evaluate the need for the medication. She seems a lot better too! Running around and getting up to Neko type things. It's good to have her back to her normal self. She's put on 1/2 lbs again too, which is good.

Work is going really well too. Just finised our Anniversary fundraisers in support of Pediatrics at our local hospital. We had Thomas the Train at the Mall for 4 shows over a weekend. I even got to have my picture taken with Thomas! lol Lucky me. I've attached the picture.

I finally finished the quilt I start a few years back! So that's pretty exciting too. Just have to make some pillow cases to go with it, but other than that it is complete! Now I'm going to put the finishing touches on my Scotland Exchange photo album then get started on my Japan one.

Nate is doing really well. He's super cute; he must take after his older brother! I'm so lucky to have such cute nephews around me. Glad I'm back to see them grow. Even the changes in one day are sometimes so amazing.
