Weekend: Races and Ty's 2nd Bday!

Well, had a pretty full weekend for myself. Saturday I spent with my sister. First we worked on the office, which will be Ty's new bedroom before the baby comes... followed by Kelsey's for dinner. Then we headed down to the track to watch the Pure Stock Mid-Season championships. Dad did pretty well to start...he placed first for one of the two heats bringing home another trophy, placed somewhere in the middle for the second heat and then in the 40 lap feature was doing pretty decent until either the fuel injector or a sparkplug died and left him stranded infield and unable to finish the race ;( ah well...season's only half over! There were such annoying people at the track last night! First there was this arrogant middle aged man who sat there eating sunflower seeds for most of the night...and not that I have any problems with that at all, but he kept spitting the shells into his hand and then throwing them all over the bleachers. I shot him several dirty looks...like he couldn't have tossed them in a cup or at least on the foot part of the bleachers...arg. Then this late teen or early twenty something guy who is sitting directly behind me finishes his fries and tosses the carton under the bleachers. Since the sunflower guy (who is a fan of #48 challenger, just as an FYI) had already annoyed me beyond belief, a turned to the young litterer and said, "There's a garbage can just over there, incase you didn't realize," pointing to the bin not 20 ft away. All he said was "Oh." God, sometimes I really hate people. So that was racing, despite the annoying people, I did actually have a really good day. So that brings us to today. Tyler's second birthday party! :) I'm so happy I was here this year for it! To think about how much I missed of him growing up in the year and a half that I was gone, is quite sad! But I’m back now…

I think it's safe to say that Ty had a good time! Tons of people there to spoil him and play with him. He got tons of stuff....he got this huge tractor he can cycle around (well not quite big enough just yet, so he still needs a push)...he absolutely loves it though!!

He also got this dolphin water squirter! Well wasn’t that a blast! He was so incredibly cute walking around squirting people…then of course Del had to get out his “super soaker”…Boys…lol

So after being soaked, and playing in the sandbox you can just imagine how dirty he got, twice in fact since he changed wet clothes once earlier in the day :) I’m pretty sure he’s sleeping well tonight though! And after all that fresh air I think I will too!
