What I've been up to...

I don't know....seems before I sat down to write this I had so much planned to say. Now I can't really remember anything at all that would be remotely interesting or exciting.

Asili is now up to 20lbs. She's finished all her puppy shots; she doesn't have to go get another until next year. Though in a month and a half to two months I will take her in to be fixed. She's also lost a few teeth now too.

Work is still going well, the annual general meeting went well. I didn't do anything embarrassing and my speech went well. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be to have to speak in front of all those professional adults! LOL, maybe that means I'm slowly becoming an adult? Or is it just that I'm more comfortable around them? Some times I wonder if I'll ever feel grown up...Bobbi and I have had this conversation many of times.

A few weeks ago I went to the ballet with my Mom at the casino. It was "Swan Lake". I have to say I really enjoyed it! The orchestra was great and the dancers beautiful!

I went down to Toronto for Melissa's birthday a few weekends ago. Went out to dinner with a group of her friends from down there, then back to her place for drinks. The next day we went to The Ethiopian House for lunch. It was so good!! And you get no cutlery, you just use this pancakey type thing to scoop up the food. Like I said though, I really enjoyed it and it was delicious!

This past weekend I met up with Al and we went for dinner and to a movie and Saturday I spent with Jamie-Lee shopping around Barrie. Also made my first visit to The Home Depot. It was so exciting!!! So many cool things to see!

And I guess that brings me to today...had a surprise visit from Donald who came up from Toronto. And he had a surprise for me! A WHOLE case of FANTA!!! How exciting is that!! You can safely bet I've been enjoying it since I got home from work. Mmmm Fanta...will need to pick up some Vodka ;)

Here's a picture from the last time my sister, Ty, Asili and I went to the park:
