Double-Clicking a no-no??

I felt compelled to tell you about my bad habit that was recently brought to my attention.

As of late I've been enjoying playing a Canasta card game. Enjoying it, that is until yesterday when the game felt it necessary to call me on a bad habit. It seems that I have a bit of a double-clicking habit. The game was obviously not pleased...here is the message that popped up:

Canasta Advisory

Canasta has noticed that you use unexpected double-clicks rather frequently.

Although Canasta protects against this, sometimes this practice can cause unpredictable game processing errors.

For safety, please use single mouse-clicks only (except when double-click AutoMelding).

So...as my friends I care about you all...so PLEASE for your own SAFETY only ever use SINGLE mouse-clicks! :P

On lighter news, last week I bought a new purse! It's fantastic, I'm so thrilled about it. So much so that I'm going to share a picture with you!! :)

I've also been listening to several songs repetitively over the few days. One of them is Martina McBride's "Concrete Angel". This is the absolute most depressing and sad song ever written, but it is also one of the most beautiful. Here are the lyrics if anyone is interested:

Concrete Angel
Martina McBride

She walks to school with a lunch she packed

Nobody knows what she's holding back;
Wearing the same dress she wore yesterday,
She hides the bruises with the linen and lace;

oh

The teacher wonders but she doesn't ask,
It's hard to see the pain behind the mask;
Bearing the burden of a secret storm,
Sometimes she wishes she was never born;

Through the wind and the rain,
She stands hard as a stone in a world that she can't rise above;
But her dreams give her wings and she flies to a place where she's loved.

Concrete Angel

Somebody cries in the middle of the night,
The neighbors hear but they turn out the lights;
A fragile soul caught in the hands of fate,
When morning comes it will be too late.

Through the wind and the rain,
She stands hard as a stone in a world that she can't rise above;
But her dreams give her wings and she flies to a place where she's loved.

Concrete Angel

A statue stands in a shaded place,
An angel girl with an upturned face;
Her name is written on a polished rock,
A broken heart that the world forgot.

Through the wind and the rain,
She stands hard as a stone in a world that she can't rise above;
But her dreams give her wings and she flies to a place where she's loved.

Concrete Angel

That not one of the saddest things you've heard??

I spent this evening watching Ty as my sister and Del had the Brooks & Dunn concert to go to (Del got the tickets for his birthday)...We had a good time...we coloured some (got the blue arm and cheek to prove it - me, not him!), played with cars and chased the dogs together. He went to bed remarkably easily after his bath which was nice :) So now here I am.

Just finishing my Kahlua flavoured coffee, wanted Chai tea (thanks Jay for getting me onto that) but my sister doesn't have any. What I did notice though is that my blog is set to Japanese time still...I'll have to figure out how to change that.....
