Sunny Sunday in the Park
Asili and I met up with Daisy and Heather this morning at 11:30 to head to Orillia to go to the park. We started at Tudhope Park and walked the Trans Canada Trail which runs alongside Lake Couchiching. They found a few balls along the way and made some new friends.
We then went to Timmies for an iced cap and then went down to the boardwalk at Couchiching Park. They played in the water and chased each other like mad.

On the way to drop Heather off we found a turtle crossing the road, so we pulled over to pick it up and put it in the ditch. But not before taking a picture! (Yes, there really isn't much to do up here!)

Asili wasn't the only one tired after our half day at the Park. When we got home shortly after 4pm, we both had a two hour nap. Tyler and Nate were still here (racing was cancelled yesterday and rescheduled for today) so after waking I BBQed dinner and watched some Treehouse with Tyler and played dinky cars. His new thing to say is: "That's Awesome!" or "That's Cool!"; he'd say this when launching the cars from the ramp he built.
Pretty boring blog, I do realize, but I did have a good day.
Back to work tomorrow morning, going in early as it's our annual Seniors Fair.
