Finally some real news...well at least a little!

I'll start with the least exciting news and work my way up...

March Break Mania continues....3 magic shows yesterday...though my magician almost didn't make it in because of the bad weather and road closures....but he did make it and gave three very entertaining magic shows!! Next, yesterday was SURPRISE DAY - March 15th!!! This is my mom's and mine's made up holiday! I got a timmies coffee (WOO HOO, didn't win on the cup though) and a hammock!!! How exciting is that...a real, official, big hammock! Can't wait for the snow to be gone to hang it up outside!! SO EXCITED!!

And last, Jamie and Derek are getting married Saturday, June 9th, 2007!! Congratulations!!! Jamie has asked me to be in the wedding party which I happily accepted! That really is exciting. I'm so happy for her! We haven't seen a whole lot of each other since I came back from Japan, but this will definitely give us lots of reasons to meet up. Plus she's also my rollerblading buddy, and my lifetime drama buddy (not the "oh my god" type of drama, but rather the acting type of drama). They also recently got a puppy, so now Asili will have a little puppy friend! How cute!! :)

Newest Pet

Yep, just what I really needed a new pet!!!

His name is Harald pronounced with the German accent (Ha - like hahaha, ra - like the cheer rarara and ld tagged onto the end).

He was born (created) Monday, March 13, 2006 at approximately 9:45pm!!

Nate was here for a few hours today. I came out after changing into my new pjs and did the superstar jump/pose and said "TADA!", apparently a little too loud for poor Nate...he started crying...lol seems I'm a terrible aunt! I took him out of the swing and played "hoppa hoppa rider!" with him and all was good again. That was followed by a wild game of "I'm a F1 driver!".

First day of March Break is OVER!! Woohoo! Not too too many kids hanging about the mall, which was a good thing. Met Bobbi's boys, and got to be out of the office for about 3 hours (3 shows total today) to set-up, take down and take pictures during the shows.

Tomorrow brings 3 hours of crafts, face painting and balloons...lol wonder how many balloons will end up on the ceiling of the mall.

Saturday

Went and saw Brian today. He had a liver transplant just under two weeks ago. He's doing amazingly well. He's at home already and recoving really well! Brian has an amazing outlook, personality and is truly an inspiring person. I've never met someone so optimistic! Here's to hoping he completely recovers quickly!

Asili will be 4 months next Saturday. She's now up to 14 lbs...eats non-stop, plays non-stop and is getting along well with the cats. She'll sit on command and loves to play fetch.

Next week she goes in for her last shot (well at least until next year).
